Pros Excellent print quality and card readers
Cons Drinks ink and has typical print head clogging problem
Recommended it? No

I recently found myself on the lookout for a new printer for my wife. This is because the Epson C80 that our kids were using finally died. The computer situation in our house starts with my wife's PC and goes down to my kids and finally falls to me. This means when something new needs to be... Read full review »

Pros Excellent quality. Media slots are helpful to select group.
Cons slow .... so slooow. Ink issues.
Recommended it? Yes

If you're in the market for photo-quality printers, you'll be very happy with this one but you also must recognize its limitations.

Its strong points include media slots, roll adapter, good menu options and excellent print quality.

Its weak points include slow printing speed... Read full review »

Epson photo 925

Pros Easy to use, outrageous photos on premium glassy paper
Cons a little pricey
Recommended it? Yes

We were trying to decide between the Epson and the HP 7350 when the Epson Representative came into the store. He was great and demonstrated all of the features for us. He did not knock the competition and was not pushy. The machine sold itself. We are using it only for printing pictures so I cannot... Read full review »

Epson 925 = Garbage

bydwuori Mar 20, 2005

Pros Easy setup, many printing options, roll paper, memory stick slot
Cons Frequent head cleaning, requires powering off when not using, horrible paper feed, poor...

OVERVIEW:

Overall I hate this printer. The photo printing is hit or miss: Sometimes it's great, sometimes it sucks. (I realize that my word selection--"sucks"--is not very professional, but it is still the correct term to use!) The print heads dry up if not used every 30 minutes. Due to... Read full review »

So easy to use this top quality printer w. unlimited options.

Pros Endless possibilities, great quality and very convenient.
Cons None.
Recommended it? Yes

I received this printer over 2 years ago and could imagine having anything else. The quality of the photos are exceptional. The layout options are endless. The ability to print 4x6 photos on a paper roll so you don't waste paper is a great idea! You put you memory card right into the printer so you... Read full review »

Epson Photo 925 Printer

Pros Good Photo Quality & relatively quiet
Cons Paper loader and feeder jams
Recommended it? No

I have been quite disappointed with this printer. The original purchase had to be returned under warranty as it jammed completely. The replacement printer has been somewhat better but regularly takes a feed of 3 to 4 sheets for a print and then either goes through or jams. The direct print... Read full review »

Quality good, paper handling awful

Pros Image quality on photo paper very nice
Cons Paper handling terrible, expect more jams than feeds.
Recommended it? No

This 925 Photo Printer was a replacement for an Epson that died (and we know that inkjets aren't cost effective to repair most of the time). The image quality on photo paper was very good, and the handling of plain paper OK, but try any other paper and expect to throw a lot out, or just get... Read full review »

925 EPSON IS A POOR PRODUCT - UNRELIABLE

byjunkyprinter Dec 12, 2007
6 Helpfuls 7 Helpfuls Was this review helpful? Comment
Pros Beautiful prints when new. Pre-mature printer failures.
Cons Inreliable. Epson printers fail with error codes after limited use.
Recommended it? No

After having owned several of this family of EPSON printers (780,825,890 and 925), I finally decided to change brands. (I know, why didn't I learn?). Well, for awhile, the prints from these models seemed really nice and sharp, but constant cleaning of heads and jamming problems made EVERY one of... Read full review »

Epson 925 Sucks

Pros Easy to set up. Mem Module Sockets
Cons Printer in unreliable
Recommended it? No

Couple years ago I bought my first digital camera, 5MP Sony DSC-F717. I quickly realized the cheesy Cannon printer I had could not handle the challenge. I went to the Sony sight and they suggested Epson printers, such as the 925. I purchased one. Easy setup, and I was printing great photos! after a... Read full review »

Epson 925 Photo

Pros None.
Cons Drinks ink. Hit or miss photo quality.
Recommended it? No

Not satisfied with this product at all. Drinks lots of ink. If you run out of color ink you cannot print in black until you replace the color cartridge. Continuously requires cleaning the nozzles which consumes the expensive ink. Read full review »
