They steal your ink
When I was forced to replace an "empty" cartage even though the last pages before the printer said is was empty where perfectly dark and visible (It said I was out of black ink). Believe what you read about the ink!!!
I wish I had researched this printer before buying it. I saw it was on sale at BestBuy for $100(from $150) and needed a new printer, so went ahead and bought it. What a mistake! penny wise pound foolish--don't buy
My new Epson CX6000 prints a beautiful page. But the ink cartridges are already running out after just 2 weeks during which I have printed approximately 100 pages.
The low price on the machine will trap an unaware buyer into a huge investment in ink cartridges.

Don't buy this printer
Guzzles ink from tiny expensive cartridges. Only did nine non ink-intensive prints before magenta was down to 1/2. Prints OK when not depositing blobs of ink on the printouts. Live customer support not available in evening or on weekends. Email support is worthless.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER
even though the print quality is excellent you will need to have a large bank account to keep it in ink. Epson knows the problem. If they have one ounce of honesty in them they will recall this printer and refund everyone that bought it the full price PLUS the cost of a full set of new cartridges... Read full review »
Big Rip-Off
DO NOT BUY this piece of junk. EPSON can either admit their bungling or suffer the consequences of an irate public. Complete Waste of Money--a Big Ink Gobbler!
