Pros One of the few artist series type guitars that looks the part. Great player.
Cons May be too heavy for some tastes.

I recently bought a used Epiphone B.B. King Lucille to replace a couple of my jazzboxes. The recent availability of Gabor Szabo CDs at my local used record store brought on a buying frenzy and the end result was that my jazz ear went haywire.

Pros Great sound and about half of what the Gibson Lucille would cost
Cons Copy of the original Gibson albeit a very good copy

Pros wide tonal range, solidly built

I got my BB King Lucille in early 1995 and, to my shock, it was one of the last guitars Gibson produced in their Centennial Year of 1994. I was quite pleased by this since I paid the maximum discount price, several hundred dollars less than they go for 10 years later. But there is a but here.

Cons The varitone switch (chicken head) should probably have another set screw .
