Pros 'true' to the Matrix, very detailed characters
Cons controls (!!!), system requirements, overall gameplay
Recommended it? No

So, seeing the 2nd installment of the Matrix triology and still being fascinated with the underlying 'message' and the right-in-your-face cool effects? Makes you want more, right? I have the perfect solution: Go and buy the associated computer game!!!!!

But hold on, would it be what you... Read full review »

Pros Decent graphics, awesome martial arts, great score, faithful to the movies
Cons Cumbersome controls, pathetic AI, linear story line, can't play as Neo :(
Recommended it? No

Unfortunately, no one can be told what the Matrix is...

Let me start by saying that, aesthetically, the game is a faithful adaptation of the Matrix universe, right down to the dark, green-tinted buildings, and the agents appearing out of nowhere. Fanboys (and girls) will feel like they... Read full review »

Pros Really feels like you're playing the movie and has just as much story development
Cons Many, many bugs and compatibility issues, and a few bad game design elements
Recommended it? Yes

There's good and bad to Enter the Matrix, and I think a lot of it boils down to two things:

1) Your luck
2) Your expectations

The reason you're not seeing only rave reviews of this game has to do with technical problems, which I'll address, and the extreme amount of hype... Read full review »

Pros Cool cinematics, lesbians
Cons Bugs, sub-par graphics, and some really annoying control issues
Recommended it? No

Most videogame titles based on a popular movie or TV show end up as bargain basement clunkers as corporate muckety-mucks are just in it for a fast buck and could care less about creating a quality title. Notable recent examples include Survivor and CSI. A few exceptions, like Disney or LucasArts,... Read full review »

Pros Music, Movie clips, graphics, true to the movie fighting/action
Cons controls, some of the levels, can't figure out on using the sword
Recommended it? Yes

Unfortunately no one can be told what the matrix is, you have to find out for yourself.

No more true does this statement apply than to the game. You can read all the negative "this is crap" reviews and all the "absolutely amazing" reviews you want, but until you play this game on your... Read full review »

Pros Good concept, fun to play, great sound effects, must-have for anyone who liked the Matrix.
Cons Buggy and a resource hog.
Recommended it? Yes

I've heard a lot of people go back and forth with this game and so I finally picked it up myself. In contrast to a lot the negative opinions, I think the games pretty fun. Right away you get to kick the junk out of security guards and use bullet-time effects to dodge well... bullets. I was... Read full review »

Cons lags,dull Enviroment,Bad gun job

The game is not bad all and all it just needs some work a couple of patches. It lacks in gun control and it has very plain enviraments where you cant seem to get much fun from it, but the hacking part is a nice touch and you get to see clips from the movie, If you like the movie you will probably... Pros Story line goes with the movie
Cons would rather play as the main character and follow him
Recommended it? Yes

I went out and bought this game right before the third movie came out. As the install went it worked just fine. I installed on a p4 2 Gigahertz 1 gig ram 120 gig hard drive so I was over the minimum requirements. I loved the game, but hated it that you had to play as the two characters. I would...
