The Bottom Line:
For the money it's quite good, but there are higher quality choices out there.
I bought this microwave a little over a year ago, and I have to say I'm pleased with it. I've noticed it seems to take a little longer to cook things than other microwaves I've had with similar power ratings, but it pops a near perfect bag of popcorn (which I, at least, consider to be important), and I've never had any problems with it. It's much quieter than the GE I had before this, and is probably about the quietest microwave I've used. My only complaints about it are mostly trivial. One is that the plastic on the buttons is bubbling, something my previous microwaves, which I had for much longer periods of time, did not do. Second is that the clock on the microwave gains time. About a minute a week or so, but if you don't pay attention to it, it will be running about 7 minutes fast and you won't know why. Also, the clock portion of the microwave is evidently not sealed, because if you leave something in the microwave for just a minute after it is done cooking, a lot of condensation gets trapped in the clock face. Other than that though, I can't complain for the price I paid.
