INTRODUCTION

Deus Ex: Invisible War is the second-worst video game sequel I've ever played behind Bomberman Act Zero.

Deus Ex was a revolutionary first person shooter with strong RPG elements. I own both the PC and PS2 versions and even now I still occasionally play them because... Read full review »

How do you make a sequel better than the original?

Pros Better graphics circa 2003... no wide screen :(
Cons Too much nerfing and not enough storyline.  I guess consoles rule developers.
Recommended it? No

It's unlikely that you can.  But here's a few a tips for EIDOS Canada with the upcoming Deus Ex 3.

As most probably know Looking Glass studios created gaming masterpieces like the System Shock games or the Thief games, when the company closed down in May 2000 Warren Spector moved to Ion Storm Austin to create another gaming masterpiece, Deus Ex.
Years later a sequel was announced and fans... Read full review »

Pros -Decent graphics that run smoothly on a decent computer -Fun physics
Cons -Not as good as Deus Ex
Recommended it? Yes

Well, I'll start by saying that Deus Ex is possibly one of my all time favorites...

...that said this game is pretty disappointing.

Its not a bad game but in my opinion it isn't worth of the Deus Ex title. I'd even say that its a good game, its just not Deus Ex material.

Pros Deus Ex.
Cons Invisible War.
Recommended it? No

The original Deus Ex was one of my favorite video games of all time. This sequel Deus Ex: Invisible War is far from one of my favorite games. In fact, it's one of my least favorites. So anyone making sequels out there, maybe getting remarried, having a second kid, here's how to make anything worse... Read full review »

I'm not much of a PC gamer. I'm going to say that off the bat just so you people can know that if I buy a PC game that's a bit out of character for me. I'm generally a console gamer and stick to my GameCube and PS2 but every now and then there will be a PC game I can't resist. Deus Ex was one of my... Read full review »
