My grandparents bought the Classic unit in 1999. It was used maybe 6 months to a year until my grandpa died and my grandma moved away, leaving it in a closet for years. I picked it up in summer 2006, thinking it might help my boyfriend's cat allergies.

The Air DOES smell cleaner, but your whole house will be STICKY!
A lot of reviews for this product mention the sticky residue that settles all over the house when using it. This is TRUE. Your windows will fog up, and the sticky residue will be everywhere.
