I can't believe what a good deal this machine is!
We just purchased the Breville ESP8XL and love it. It was time to purchase a second machine for the country and after doing a bit of research this seem to fit the "best bang for the buck" category. I read reviews on Epinions before buying this machine. I read some poor reviews on the Krupps maker I was going to buy. I bought this machine specifically to make lattes. I got a Tassimo for Christmas and was extremely disappointed. It took 3 or 4 pods to satisfy my needs at 50 cents a piece. I decided to go for the real deal espresso maker. I dislike the smell of hot plastic, and this machine fill the kitchen with a strong odor of plastic. Stainless steel on the outside and plastic on the inside? Icky. Likes Leaks
Don't push this machine too hard, or it will leak in numerous places. The little hole jams up with stray coffee grounds and then spurts hot water everywhere when you try to free it up. Can't Get Much Earlier Then This
The beautiful metal SS body leaves the dull plastic espresso machines in the dust on looks. The powerful 15 bar pump puts a thick crema on the espresso.
