I have deep pile high grade quality carpet. More than a few minutes of vacuuming with this machine would ruin my carpet. This Dyson replaces a Hoover WindTunnel that had a motor freeze up before two years light use! Forget the hype on how well Dyson Cyclone picks up and realize the HUGE effort that it takes to push this contraption over any carpeting that has some heft to it. Greatest vacuum ever!
We just purchased our Dyson last week. This vacuum is the best I have ever tried. Our old vacuum lost its suction after 2 years. It was not a cheap vacuum and it was a brand name. Fed up with old vacuum and this one fit the bill
I was getting tired of unclogging my Dirt Devil and I just knew it wasn't picking up all the dirt.
Got up yesterday, threw the old Dirt Devil away, logged onto e-pinions and found the Dyson DC07. Picked one up at Sears and I have been in Vacuum heaven since !!!

Checking a UK website, I found a large number of very negative reviews of the DC07. U.S. reviews are almost all positive and glowing. What gives? Looks Flimsy, but it is most definitely not!
