Pros I love the fact that it never looses suction.
Cons I don't like the look of the vacuum. It looks like a Fisher Price toy.
Recommended it? Yes

Last night I read all the reviews that I could find on the internet concerning the Dyson DC07. I work at a rather large upscale department store in town. I was there when the representative from Dyson demonstrated the DC07 to myself and a few other employees. I was sold on the vacuum as soon as I... Read full review »

Pros Super suction that is constant, great vacuum cleaner hands down...
Cons A little pricey but a great value !
Recommended it? Yes

I own a cleaning business, Jimmy's Home Cleaning in Bowie, Maryland and have tried quite a few so called wonder vacuum cleaners. Quite frankly, the Dyson DC07 far exceeded my expectations. Just about any vacuum can pick up large items like the stores demo. What impressed me about the Dyson was the... Read full review »

Hoover, Schmoover- Get a Dyson!

Pros Powerful, versatile, durable. Easy to empty. Vented edger attachment. Truly does not lose...
Cons Heavy and bulky. Not self propelled. A little expensive, but worth it.
Recommended it? Yes

I live in a big house which holds two families (mine and my grandparents) so it needs to be vacuumed, a lot! The portion of the house I live in is almost 100% carpeted, even the kitchen (blah!) and therefore that's about the only way we can clean our floors. The upstairs isn't much better.

Pros Outstanding suction, flexibility, ease of use, solid feel, most of all the RESULTS!
Cons Color, Price, attachment complexity, labeling, occasional ratcheting noise when switching...

What's purple and gray, sucks with it's nose to the ground, and eats bugs and anything up to 1/4 inch it can find? Not an anteater but the Dyson DC07 Animal!

Actually it can eat up to about peanut size (not Styrofoam) using the hose and no attachment. I promise you too will wonder how you... Read full review »

Pros Lots of attachments, the suction is great.
Cons Have to watch the hose.

Let me start out by telling you that I am wheelchair bound being a paraplegic/amputee. I saw the Dyson Animal shown on tv and since my old Oreck was gone to pieces - only after two years mind you - I decided to look into this one. I had read others reviews and was very impressed. The price scared... Read full review »

Pros Best cleaner ever (period).
Cons You've got to be kidding. To complain would be just nitpicky. No other machine...

How can anyone get excited about a vacuum cleaner? They own a Dyson!! I researched away searching for one vacuum cleaner that could do "everything". I was tired of using 2 different vacuums. One for under furniture and then an upright. The Dyson Animal does it all. We have 2 labrador retrievers and... Read full review »

I've been using a central vac for years and love it. However, I wanted something with good attachments to clean my daughter's room as she suffers from allergies. I was set to buy the very expensive Miele that was recommended by the Allergy Buyers website, but looked into this site to see the... Read full review »

Pros There isn't enough room to list all the good things about this vacuum cleaner!
Cons None

In the past three years, we have gone through three different expensive model vacuums. Hoover, Eureka and Dirt Devil. All three died within a year of their purchase. I had been looking at the Dyson for a while, but the price made me a little nervous. Granted 200 for a vacuum is one thing, 500 is... Read full review »

Cons The price, although trust me, it will pay for itself !!!!

I have 4 cats and have gone through 2 Hoover wind tunnel vacuums. They just couldn't work after awhile. In a plea of desperation, I researched the Dyson Animal vacuum. I ordered it and was so amazed at how much it picked up. After just vacuuming my bedroom, the canister had to be emptied. Every... Read full review »

This one should last

Pros REALLY sucks pet hair. Long cord. Long hose.
Cons Base is big. Hard to fit under beds.
Recommended it? Yes

We have the worst record with vacuum cleaners. We've gone through 3 vacuums in 4 years. No joke. We don't like bags, because the pet hair will fill it quickly, making it expensive. So we've bought various bagless vacuums such as the Dirt Devil and Fantom Fury. (Can't remember the other one.) Both... Read full review »
