Very nice look - Poor heater.
Our basement is always a bit cooler than the rest of the house and I had already decided after it's first use, that the fireplace would never see fire in it again. So when I saw this at CanadianTire.ca online, I thought it was too perfect.

Nice to look at but...
I concur with the previous reviewer but after having ours for several years it is now making a very strange odor, kind of a hot wires or very hot oil smell.
Called the customer service number and the very nice lady told me that since it was out of warranty there basically wasn't anything...
