Great sound produced by this receiver, but.... not easy to setup!
I have had this component for three days now. Here are the pros and cons:
PROS:
- GREAT sound produced, in either 2ch stereo, or 5.1/6.1/7.1 surround sound (for both music and movies).
- LOTS of availables DSPs and equalizations, to please most people.

Great sound, great build quality, pretty easy to set up
I've had this unit for about 5 weeks now. I use it with JBL SCS300.7 speakers, a hifi vcr and a dvd player. This AVR system is identical to the AVR-1707 except for cosmetics.
