XM Skyfi - Thought I would never pay for radio untill i tried it.
Living in Southern California, I'm faced with a pretty long commute - a minimum of 2 hours a day on the road going to and from work.
I've been extremely dissatisfied with FM, and there's only so much I can take of AM after the news, traffic reports and a little talk radio here and there...

Great radio with just a couple of drawbacks
I purchased the Delphi SkyFi radio about 8 months ago. I drive a whole lot, so the SkyFi is great to have whenever I drive through areas that have little or no regular radio service. No matter where I drive, the SkyFi picks up the signal.

Good bye FM. Hello XM!
WOW WOW WOW! I have had this for about a month now and have yet to unplug myself from it.
I commute aprox. 2hrs to NYC everyday and rely on my radio to get my mind off the road. Of late though I have been noticing 10-15 min commercial breaks thus forcing me to do the channel surfing thing only...

XM is awesome, Delphi is is OK
I got XM last summer. My commute is about an hour through a rural area, which doesn't get much AM/FM radio reception. Since getting XM, I haven't listened to FM at all! It is great. Generally A Good Satellite Radio-But There Are Better Options

It's worth the money to pay for radio!
We bought our XM SkyFi and within 48 hours, we went out and bought a second one for our other car! I never would have imagined that I would actually PAY for radio - but it's worth the money. The worst product I've ever used/bought.
I'm 50+ and have never in my life time, bought such a worthless piece of unreliable, poorly designed or manufactured junk. The $100 centerpiece of $20,000 stereo?
While not honestly CD quality unless your CD player is $100 (mine is $3500 just the player). Nevertheless the quality of sound is very dynamic and clear. And the entertainment is due to good DJs cooking up interesting mixes that make sense, non-stop, 24-hours a day.
