It's okay
The overall counter size is great and would be better suited for two adults rather than the three in our household. Could only fit four wings in at a time. The basket is slanted so the food goes in and out of the oil and took 14 minutes for just one batch of wings. No way to tell if the temperature... Read full review »
Great little fryer
Great little fryer. Works well each a every time I use it. By the way, try to swap out the oil every time to avoid acrylamide buildup. My kids love shrimp cooked in this thing. Makes frying a lot easier and cleanup easier too. Great product. Read full review »
Diminutive DeLonghi Gets it Right
Like many, I have avoided frying because of the mess and smell--though I am fortunate that larger love-handles don't seem to happen to me. Fried chicken, fritters, appetizers, and gourmet additions to dinner plates are all fun. But I avoided the trouble, even partially out of fear of setting the... Read full review »
Much better than stovetop frying
If you find yourself deep frying even occasionally, the DeLonghi D895UX is a good alternative to hot oil on a stovetop. Actually, it's one of the better residential deep fryers. Years ago, I had a Fry Daddy unit, which was basically just a small electrically heated pot, and it put me off these... Read full review »
Only got 3 uses out of mine - had to return for refund
I loved the way it cooked - using less oil than my other fryer and it was so much easier to keep clean!! However, after only 3 uses, it stopped working. It wouldn't heat the oil and when I tried to reach Delonghi's customer service, I decided that I didn't want a product for which I couldn't get... Read full review »
~~ DO YOU WANT FRIES WITH YOUR DELONGHI COOL TOUCH ROTO DEEP FRYER? ~~
Normally, I am on a fried food ban...I hate feeling sluggish and unhealthy, but after trying french fries at one of my friends home with the DeLonghi Cool Touch Roto Deep Fryer, I decided to buy one of my own! My kids love fried food, but I do everything I can to keep it out of my home.

And It's Also Quiet!
After more than 15 years of loyal service, we finally had to replace our old DeLonghi Roto Deep Fryer and were delighted to find that they still made them...with improvements. It took us a while to find what we consider the perfect replacement, which is the DeLonghi D895UX. It has all the features... Read full review »
LOVE my RotoFryer!
Excellent Fryer!!! I love the money and calorie savings you get with this spinning basket!! It is VERY easy to clean too! Makes donuts and chicken w/ease! It heats quick and I have had mine for 3 mos w/no problems! Read full review »
Not as great as I thought
Deep fryer worked great for about one year. Now it will not heat the oil. It was not worth the price I paid. Read full review »
overrated fryer
I was very disappointed with this fryer. Any fryer will fry food but how many are easy to clean after cooking? Certainly not this one! Draining the oil is a slow chore. The fryer has nooks and crannies, especially in it's top, that are impossible to reach leading to crusty left=over buildup. Food... Read full review »
FROM THE FRYING PAN INTO THE .... WELL, CERTAINLY NOT THE FIRE!
The deep fryer I had was already hitting its 10 birthday. Yes it still worked, but it looked like it was 10 years old. I felt I was ready for a new one.
With so many on the market, I wanted one that would make my life easier – but did such a deep fryer even exist? After looking around for...

Great cooker!!! Worth the extra $'s, I will never go back to the old one
The ease of filter drainage system means that I clean the oil more often and it allows me to use the oil much longer than my previous cooker. It uses far less oil and because of the rotation, food is less greasy. I read comments about the filters being costly, but I think that most cookers require... Read full review »
High Maintenance Costs!
Although DeLonghi makes a good deep fryer, please consider the cost of replacement filters before you buy. DeLonghi replacement filters do not last very long and they are not easy to find. If you buy them directly from DeLonghi America, one pack of replacement filters can cost as much as $32.00... Read full review »
Too pricey for what it offers.
Other than rotating basket, I am disappointed with other selling points about this product that I read about before purchasing the product. It did not stay cool while cooking seems to me is one of the main selling point for me prior to buying the product. But, mine remained hot to touch during... Read full review »
Dont buy this!!!
The fryer was cool to the touch and does have a nice look to it. When it worked it did fry food very well. However the pro's do not out way the cons in this particular case.
The fryer made a terrible mess with the oil which caused long clean up times. It was difficult to use and...

At first glance it looked great with all the bells & whistles.
The fryer was beautiful to look at, but after owning it for 3 months, I could see its limitations. The pluses were it's capacity, the temperature controls, the draining system. There was also a timer, but it was not really a plus, your egg or stove timer will be just as good. There is separate... Read full review »
overpriced and overrated!
The fryer has a good design but thats as far as it goes. It is not well built or has a lot of bugs. I only got 1 use out of it. The fryer didnt rotate and didnt heat. Will have to send it back unles there is a reset button . I will never buy another delonghi anything! I read the reviews also before... Read full review »
An asset to the kitchen
This is a good kitchen tool. I'm glad I bought it but I must admit I'm just learning what to cook and not cook in it. Being vegetarian I really wanted to make deep fried tofu but learned you need to use the kind that's extra firm or you need to dry it out well before hand to get it to be crispy... Read full review »
Mom, is the chicken ready yet?
I purchased the DeLonghi Rotating Deep Fryer F-895 after reading the excellent reviews in magazines and on line and liked the fact that you didn't have to use as much oil as the traditional fryers. I don?t tolerate reheated oil very well so I only use the oil 2/3 times before dumping. There is NO... Read full review »
Give Me A Skillet--Please!
I read the reviews...I bought the deep fryer...It rotated for my first batch of chicken...then stopped! Now, while the fryer is cooling off (so I can drain the oil)--so am I (cooling off, that is).
I'm a southern girl who can fry some SERIOUS chicken--cast iron skillet and all. That's not...
