Pros Processor Speed, Size, PRICE!!
Cons Availability, can take awhile to ship from Dell
Recommended it? Yes

First off I have to admit that I was one of the people who would say why do I need a Pocket PC? Well I am here to tell you that this little rocket has been stuck to my hip for the past 3 months and I won't leave home without it. I bought the Dell Axim X30 624Mhz model for at the time an... Pros Excellent display, Simple Wi-Fi connection, easy to use, low price
Cons Bulky case, non-ergonomic design, cannot move scrollbar to left side

Imagine this if you will, I wanted a PDA for Christmas and this is what Santa sent me a couple of weeks ago.

Actually I heard that if you wanted a Dell Axim you needed to order it early or it would not be here in time for Christmas. When I ordered it off the Dell website the day after... Read full review »

Great value, nice product

Pros Price, integrated wireless, form factor
Cons Center toggle button to small, no cradle included
Recommended it? Yes

The Axim X30 replaced my old Axim X5. I was never really happy with the first generation Axims as they were heavy, big and had quality issues. I went through three first generation Axims before getting one with a properly aligned screen and without any dead pixels. The first generation screen were... Read full review »

Pros A $299 price tag, great wireless capabilities, great gaming machine and excellent...
Cons Bluetooth configuration, standard battery life
Recommended it? Yes

This is an excellent PDA. It is my second time owning an PDA, my first was a Palm based Visor Prism. This one is light years ahead and the Pocket PC 2003 operating system is far ahead of the Palm operating system. The wireless capabilities of this unit are excellent. I have spots in my house where... Read full review »

Sweet Dell handheld

Pros Clear screen, power
Cons battery life, slippery stylus
Recommended it? Yes

This is like my 10th PDA, starting with the first Palm Pilot (the real one) years ago. Most came in second place to the notebook and pad until this one. I bought the keyboard attachment, which is excellent (how does that darn thing fold up like that anyway) and the wireless, which has proven... Read full review »

Pros LOTS. Wi-FI, Pocket Word & Excel, Fast processor, decent memory. Best value for the $$$.
Cons Not sure yet, as I'm new to PDA's, but it seems quite flawless so far.
Recommended it? Yes

After looking at almost every PDA available for $200-$300, I went for what Dell offered, the middle of the 3 Axim X30's. This is my very first PDA, so I have alot to learn, and for the most part I'm learning it quickly. The big selling points are the Wi-Fi, Pocket Word & Excel, good processor &... Read full review »

A++ Handheld from Dell

Pros Cheap, powerful handheld with wireless capabilities
Cons none really except the lack of decent battery life
Recommended it? Yes

Dell has a great PDA in the Axim X30. I've got the 624 mhz with 64 mb ram and Wireless/Bluetooth capabilities. I previously owned an Ipaq 3765 and in comparison, I will now always buy Dell. The Ipaq was rather bulky and just didn't 'feel' right when I was using it. The X30 is smaller and lighter... Read full review »

Pros Everything works as advertised.
Cons None
Recommended it? Yes

The Dell Axim X30 624 Mhz is my first PDA so I didn't have a personal basis to compare it to others, so I went with what my investigating revealed. What it revealed was this was a lot of cutting edge technology at a bargain basement sale price of $308 delivered with a cradle and case included.

Pros wi-fi and bluetooth integrated, thin, fast processor at 624MHZ
Cons bundled software is not the greatest, navigation button

This pocket PC has all the features you could want in one and more. The price is great and it comes fully loaded. This is the top of the line model in the Dell Axim X30 series and the price does not make it seem like it.

MICROSOFT STRIKES AGAIN...
I've been a die-hard PalmOS user from the days of yore. My first handheld was the Handspring Visor Deluxe and I rocked it until it just wasn't sweet anymore. Like many computer users, I just didn't want to give Microsoft any more of my money. But just like all the... Read full review »
