Pros Economical. Simple. Rugged. Beautiful.
Cons Sluggish when multi-tasking more than 5 programs.
Recommended it? Yes

I've become a veteran of PDA's over the years, ever since I first bought a Palm m100 back at the turn of the century (I love saying that). This was my first PocketPC-based device, and I must say I'm not likely to move back to the PalmOS market anytime soon.

Pros Price, speed, lots of accessories and extra hardware out there, very easy to learn, Wi-Fi
Cons Tech Support, no Bluetooth
Recommended it? Yes

I was given one of these PDA's at work and have really loved getting to know the in's and out's of the Dell Axim X3. Pros Fast and has good memory. Scalable with expandable slots.
Cons Does not have wi-fi support.

This PDA has everything that will get you going with a no PC at hand situation. A good memory and a fast processor offerring makes it at par with some of the high end models available today. It has expandable slots for bluetooth and wireless lan. In that way it is quite scalable. It has built in... Read full review »

Pros I loved my AXIM pda while it worked. However it failed after 1 year.
Cons DELL policy is NO REPAIRS or EXCHANGES beyond the warranty period. Tough!
Recommended it? No

Whether you purchased an AXIM X5, X3, X30 or X50 does not matter. DELL will only repair or exchange PDAs during the warranty period. Once the warranty is over, you are on your own, no more repairs or exchanges from DELL! Beyond the warranty period, a defective DELL PDA simply becomes an expensive... Read full review »
