If you loved Tekken, you'll love this game
Dead or Alive 3 is an excellent martial arts game. It has stunning graphics, beautiful backgrounds and is easy to play. Tecmo's team NINJA really outdid themselves this time and used the powerful Xbox graphics hardware to the full extent.

It's a sequel to the Dead or...

These Girls Would Be Killer at Hooters - Dead or Alive 3
The Xbox didn't have a bad system launch at all. It took a couple months for the Playstation 2 games to start rolling in, and the Gamecube's Mario-less launch crippled the Gamecube's first six months or so (Super Mario Sunshine was released the summer following the Gamecube's launch). But the Xbox... Read full review »
This games spins me right round.Baby right round.Like a record baby.
To help launch the XBox for fighting fans, Microsoft recruited the aid of Tecmo to bring the third installment of their Dead or Alive series to the console at launch, and to keep it exclusive. Given that the group behind it, Team Ninja's, slightly eccentric leader Tomonobu Itagaki seems to have a... Read full review »
Is this the best fighting game for Xbox?
In a time where many fighting games fail because they have nothing new to offer, sticking out from the crowd is hard to do. Enter Dead or Alive 3. It was released on the Xbox launch day and is still the best fighter on the system.
Usually in a fighting game, the storyline never plays a...

Move over Mortal Kombat!
If you like head to head fighting games this one is excellent, graphics are very good, controls don't take that long to master, and characters are more "realistic" than Mortal Kombat.
My kids really like the fact that there are about as many girl fighters as guys. Some of the outfits are...

Dead or Alive 3: More Alive than Ever
Here I am, yet again sipping on my tea and writing a review; hopefully contributing on helping you make your decision. Well, now that I caught myself blabbering, I might as well go on with my opinion.
The Dead or Alive series certainly has come a long way. My first experience, with Dead or...

Before you buy any fighting game, buy this one unless it is a sequel to this one. Tecmo has given Microsoft an awesome gift.
Has infinite replay value, top quality arcade graphics with great music, several types of games within this game, it rocks and kicks all forms of $#%, uses several...

Rocky BalDOA
Introduction:
This franchise began on the idea that sex appeal sells. The original DOA sported "bouncy" female fighters and became successful enough to spawn a sequel, DOA2, which has had many incarnations. With the growing success came new games, various improvements, and better graphics...

Dead or Alive 3
This game was one of the first released for the Xbox and it is great. The graphics, sound, and game play are excellent, not to mention the cool effects of the animated ladies - truly a guy's dream come through.
The action in this game is fast and furious because unlike it's predecessors -...

A Great Fighter has arrived
The Dead or Alive series has been alive for sometime in arcades and on the dreamcast. But it never was really able to break away from the pack. Deemed another Tekken or Virtua Fighter clone, this games only claim to fame was that its women featured bouncing breasts. Flash forward to the release of... Read full review »
Bye bye nasty bounce
I remember going to computer conventions and for years the monitors would have dead or alive 2 playing too show just how good they displayed those incredible graphics. Well X-box met those graphic standards and surppassed them here.
PLOT: varies per person but heres a run down on each of...

DOA3...proof that a great body just isn't enough
Tecmo has gained quite the reputation recently in the fighting genre, with its exemplary (and well-endowed) Dead or Alive series. The series, which originated on the PlayStation and Saturn, wowed gamers with its stellar in-depth gameplay and?ahem?well-rounded characters.
DOA2, which...

"Owners of the "next-gen" systems searching for a classic fighting game have very little choices. With one of the flagship XBOX releases, is it more than just eye candy?"

Almost always on cue, you can expect a super-hyped fighting game to be released with the initial...

Virtua who?
Well, before I start let me remind you all that a special FREE addon disc for the game will be included with the June 2002 issue of The Official Xbox Magazine and will contain more costumes, new CG movies,DOA3 demo, and hopefully some more. That'll obviously give the game a big boost. The story is... Read full review »
Redefining the Word "Eye-Candy"
What sold me on Dead or Alive 3 was a trailer I watched on my Xbox Magazine's demo disc. I had never seen such a good looking game before. I was amazed at the characters and drooling over the environments, I *had* to get that game! Of course, the graphics are what sold me, you, on the other hand,... Read full review »
DOA 3: Buy it for the Babes
DOA3 is a fighting game where one to four players can get their bells rung. There are many different game modes including versus, demo, arcade, tag, survival, tournament, theater, and practice mode. Tag can be very fun when two players fight on the same team against the computer. My 9 year old... Read full review »

Seen Final Fantasy: The Movie? Wanta play a game with those graphics?
In a way, I was a bit disappointed when I first played this game. What I expected was a game with amazing graphics, interesting fighters, intricate levels, and a great plot to tie it all together. Unfortunately, I only got part of my wish. Dead or Alive 3 is still a great game, and one of the best... Read full review »

Another visually exceptional game for the x-box (she kicks high). Lots of characters to choose from, and tons of places to fight. One of the most impressive is the Snow scene, in which the snow actually gets displaced as you fight on it (footprints and bodyprints in the snow correspond to the... Read full review »
Ever want to see Anna Nicole Smith knock the crap out of Pamela Anderson?
Well, after much listening to what other people had to say about this game I finally decided it was time to give it a try myself. I went into this game with mixed feelings because a lot of people seem to think it is the greatest thing ever to happen to fighting games, while others labeled it as... Read full review »
