Darksiders is a Modern Cult Classic
I've said it a million times before, but it bears repeating: I love videogames, but I tend to dislike most gamers. The reasons I dislike most of my game-playing brethren are numerous - and recounting them all would be well beyond the scope of this review - but one of the biggest reasons is because... Darksiders: The fun of the end of days comes home.
Last year Virgil Games alongside publisher THQ announced Darksiders, a game where you play as one of the four horsemen during the end of days. Game play footage made the game seem like yet another God of War clone, so it wasn’t that much of a surprise to see that it flew under... Read full review »
One of the best puzzle-action games out there!
If you are a fan of Zelda this game is for you. More gore of course but it plays allot like it. Or any puzzle type game, basically you go into a bunch of dungeons with random monster fights here and there. Fast paced with awesome weapons. New IP with elements of Zelda, Portal and God of War
Great game that has lots of gameplay elements from games like Zelda, Portal and God of War mixed up in a very cool new IP. You have gadgets like Link, you fight and has combos like in God of War, and you make portals just like in the Portal game. Amazing graphics and a very cool story! Read full review »
I was told it was Zelda meets God of War and I would agree!
Ok so first off I would have to say that I was kind of skeptic about the whole "Zelda/God of War" reference it received (let's face it.....both games are EPIC in their own right!), but I have to say that I was truly happy to find that it did have those elements in the game. It had Zelda's graphical... Read full review »
