Not top of the line, but it gets the job done.
This blender work well for smoothies...and that's about what we use it for! It has enough power to crush ice, but often has to be stopped and mixed in order to completely mix and chop the ingredients. Do not buy!
Bought in 2004 a Cuisinart blender combo at Costco based on brand name. Blade base cracked within 3 months, now motor mount is spitting out black stuff. Bring back my 40 year old Waring blender, now deceased. Read full review »

A wonderful paperweight, lousy blender

check the base..
i tried everywhere to find out how much power this thing has but no details on it. The only way to find out is to look at the base to see how much watts it has. There are 2 motors available. I was disappointed with my last 300watt philips blender.. when the drink got too thick, it won;t blend.
