OK I guess
Just got this last week. Tried to make ice cream three times I got one batch of ice cream in the end. While it is SUPER NOISY, I guess it may be quiet for an ice cream maker.

A good ice cream maker
I have been thinking about getting one of these for some time now. Saw it at Costco for under $50 the other day and decided it was time to buy one. Home made ice cream is so good and being able to make it without ice, salt, or a crank is a very good thing.

Disappointed in freezing ability
While it was simple to use and very inexpensive, I found that the Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker did not produce an ice cream that met my standards for good ice cream. I used a recipe found in the included booklet for Chocolate Ice Cream.

This is a great ice cream maker. It's easy to use and to clean. Just use you're favorite recipe and put the mix in the machine and let it churn for 20 minutes.
