I have tried the Villaware Uni panini grill, the Delonghi open countertop grill and another panini type grill (approx $90), and returned them all (ouch, those return shipping charges hurt). Glad I made the right choice!
I did a lot of research before choosing this griddler. I wanted something larger than my small Foreman, but yet versatile. Terrible customer service
My griddler did not work from day one. 6 calls to customer service with lots of run arounds has gotten me no where. Asked to fax in proof of purchase before they will speak to me, but no one can ever "find the fax" so I guess I am out of luck. Don't bother with the 3 year warranty - they won't even... don't buy it
