Grounds and water all over counter/floor every day!
For over a decade I brewed coffee in an ancient Krups machine, and then transferred the coffee to a thermal carafe. Not exactly an elegant process, but we had great coffee that stayed very hot for hours. We have a home office and people dropping in at odd times, so it is nice to be able to offer... Makes good hot coffee and keeps it hot.
Summary:
Carafe keeps the coffee hot for a very long time. Carafe lid design eliminates buttons and pumps to pour coffee and keeps coffee hotter. The controls are at the base so steam will not harm the electronics. Simple to operate. Does have a programmable start time.
