Pros Easy to Use, Good Value, Great Design
Cons none

I bought this to use in
The kitchen of a mission in New Mexico.  We used it daily in meal prep for 100 people and when I left the mission I have continued to use it almost daily for another 20 years.  This is a workhorse.  A variety of blades and attachments make it quite... Read full review »

Disappointed in warranty

Pros I use my cuisnart foodprocessor daily.
Cons Mine broke when making bread dough. I like the old design better.
Recommended it? No

I own 5 cuisinart food processors, and my mom is still using my first cuisinart food processor, over 30 years old. I use my cuisinart at home almost every day. I bought 2 of the dlc-2014, one for a summer cabin. I have only used the cabin food processor about 40 times. When I was making bread... Read full review »

Versatility... the strongest feature of Cuisinart!

bysharonanne2 Sep 19, 2005
5 Helpfuls 6 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros It's easy-clean computerized touch pad and improved feed-tube assembly.
Cons None really, except (same sized) Custom Pro model's better value price.
Recommended it? Yes

This Cuisinart Food Processor is by far the most versatile kitchen appliance you can own. You can knead 1 or 2 loaves (of 6 cups white bread flour*) to perfection, in just 40 seconds, in this machine.

*Wheat flour is twice as "DENSE" as white flour, so cut your wheat flour recipes in half... Read full review »

Pros Soft button design easy to use and clean.
Cons None as yet.

When my old Cuisinart DLC-7 Pro, also a 14 cup processor, died, I felt as if I'd lost a friend. Plus, I still had a dozen perfectly good (not to mention expensive) slicing disks that I didn't want to throw away. A query to Cuisinart, however, revealed that my DLC-7 disks would work on any of... Pros Versatile, great at its job, safe, sturdy, trendy
Cons Heavy

I love this processor. It is incredibly durable, very versatile, and looks great in any kitchen. I love the fact that there aren't a million different and useless buttons, but only four truly functional ones. The different blades are easy to attach and very safe to use. I've used it for jobs big... Read full review »

Wow! what a food processor. Has some negatives about it but the positives out way them. I'll get right to it, no need to bore you you with needless rhetoric.
First off, I would like to tell you what I like about this Cuisinart food processor. The DLC-2014 is a very powerful processor, it can... Read full review »

Pros Heavy duty with every possible needed attachment. Big.
Cons Expensive

When I got my first apartment, my dad (who does not cook) went out and bought me a food processor. The model he bought was a no-name, light-weight fiasco that did not actually have a bowl, but rather a shoot that sprayed the shreds and slices into a mixing bowl I would provide. There was, of... Cons no speed controls for motor.

I have had the Cuisinart 14 Cup Power Prep Plus Food Processor DLC-2014 for over a year now. No point in writing an opinion after using an item only once or twice. It is a wonderful unit with a powerful motor. I use it to prepare bread dough, at times the dough can be very heavy, this unit doesn?t... Read full review »

Pros A real workhorse of a machine!
Cons None

I purchased my DLC-X in January, 1983, and ever since, it has been the only machine I use to knead dough. It is faster and more thorough than even my Kenwood Major mixer. The dough mixing technique allows you to see when you've just added enough liquids and flour to form a non-stick ball in the... Read full review »

As you may already know from her review,Caroleg and I checked out the new Cuisinart food processor last Saturday. We were able to interview two different Williams Sonoma employees about the Cuisinart 14-cup and the mini prep and then we got to play (yes, play) with the machines.

Cruisin' with Cuisinart!

byjohnr55 May 16, 2000

Pros very heavy duty, supremely easy to clean, large discs mean less likelihood of bloodshed
Cons weighs as much as a Kitchen Aid mixer; feed tube can be a pain to clean

The first food processor I bought in the early eighties was one of the Moulinex La Machines. This was so lousy I was turned off fp's for several years. I bought my DLC-X roughly 10 years ago. It was the largest and most durable model then, and still is.

I had learned from friends that the... Read full review »
