Pros Sorry Star Bucks, I'm keeping my money! Wonderful fresh brew, can't be beat!
Cons Be sure to empty previous coffee from the carafe to prevent so-called leaks (overflows)!

Well...What can I say.. I LOVE this coffee system. I do agree that there may be some minor improvements coming our way with the next Cuisinart Grind and Brew upgrade.. Pros It is a lean, mean Grind'n'Brew machine
Cons I spent 260 dollars on this machine and I still go to Starbucks every day

Pros Not too many Pros. It does look nice.
Cons Weak Coffee. Leaky carafe. Coffee too cold. No grind settings. Wet grind basket after...
Recommended it? No

I bought this coffee maker so I can stop grinding my whole beans manually every few days or so. Manual grinding is messy, and I thought it would be great to have fresh ground beans each day.

Well, the Cuisinart is nice (looking), it has many of the drawbacks listed in other reviews.

Got my replacement Carafe today ( free ). Spout has different design so I hope it won't leak.
Since I wrote my review I heard back from Cuisinart. They are sending me a replacement carafe. The warranty is top notch I guess. My maker was a year old and the were very prompt when i complained... Read full review »

Pros Works as promised. Freshly ground and brewed.
Cons Not ten standardized cups, more like eight. Upside-down pouring... not too elegant.

I got this coffee maker last week at BBB and have had absolutely no problems with it whatsoever. It has worked as promised. Everything from grinding to brewing. No prob. Pros Looks great
Cons Fussy, hard to use, needs loads of coffee to make a decent cup

The coffee maker looks so fine all chrome and black, we were happy to spend 150 bucks after we spent 35K on the new kitchen.

Pros 80's excess show room quality great fantastic tasting coffee (for real)
Cons grinder is loud but tolerant, A-lot to clean up "AFTER EACH USE."

Pros Looks great, is very convenient.
Cons One grinder setting is a major drawback. Coffee is watery, weak.
Recommended it? No

I really want to like this coffee maker. I love the idea that it grinds the beans and makes coffee while I am lying in bed. It also is very stylish. We previously had an expensive Capresso coffee maker, and this machine was an improvement in many ways over that one.

Pros Brews very good coffee. Carafe keeps it hot! Toss out the grinder.
Cons lotsa pieces to clean, bean hopper could be bigger.
Recommended it? Yes

Last month the unit began emitting smoke from the rear when my wife turned it on. I contacted Cuisinart via Email and they asked me to return the unit, then sent us a brand new one. That is outstanding support for a unit that was almost two years old. Two thumbs up for Cuisinart!
