This coffee maker is terrible
There is nothing to like about this machine, unless you like coffee makers that are hard to clean, messy to use and make terrible coffee.
First, you can't tell how much water you're putting into the reservoir. I've had to shine a flashlight into the reservoir as I fill it.

Junk....Gunk.....Now Stuck Grinder With No Idea On How To Repair
Excited when my son presented me with this Coffee Maker last Christmas.
So far, gunk everywhere!
And NOW the grinder is stuck tight!
NO help anywhere that I can find from Cuisinart.
Takes all the fun out of coffee.

Very good coffee if you keep it clean.
I have really enjoyed my Cuisinart grind and brew. I found, however, that I need to be fastidious about cleaning the grinder mechanism and the rest of the unit. It sure beats wiping up coffee grounds off the floor and counter every day and I get a consistently good cup of coffee every morning. Read full review »

not worth the headache
A love / hate relationship from the start! The coffee maker did produce some fine tasting coffee but from the very first proved that benefit to be at the cost of great noise, frustration at cleanup, and difficulties in getting any attention from Cuisinart's customer service department. Don't buy it
Too noisy. Hard to clean. Not simple to operate - you have to remember and clean every part. Doesn't make good coffee. Very disappointing and brings down my opinion of cuisinart as a quality design brand. Melitta makes excellent grind/brew for 30% less cost. Read full review »
