The Quest for the Perfect Cup of Coffee
After working the midnight shift for 22 years, I would like to say that I am a connoisseur of fine coffee. Unfortunately I can't, as I don't think stumbling to the coffee pot, pouring a cup and throwing in my face to wake up, qualifies.
My wife wanted a new coffeemaker for Christmas and as...

Point of Diminishing Returns - the Quest for the Perfect Cup of Coffee
Where it all began
Coffee to me is one of the few true pleasures in life. Who could guess that a dark brown liquid could bring so much joy? When we get our daily cup of coffee, the innocuous looking cup downplays what is actually involved in making a good cup. The beans have to be roasted...

I love you Grind & Brew
Somewhere in a box at home there's a cartoon drawn by my sister depicting me standing butt naked in my front yard while my house burns clasping my coffee maker in a manner that just covers my "area". The word bubble over my head reads, "Someone save the children!" The obvious question to anyone... Read full review »
Cuisinart Automatic Grind & Brew Coffeemaker: A Coffee Lover's Nirvana or Torment?
I'm a bean freak. I love coffee and I love it in whole bean form. I keep a 2 pound bag of Starbuck's coffee beans in my refrigerator. Every morning I would faithfully grind the beans and immediately deposit them in my coffeemaker for the freshest possible brew.
When my old coffeemaker...

A Blow to Starbuck's Bottom Line
Over a year ago, my husband and I decided to look into these grind and brew machines. I hungered for one but was not very optimistic about the... Read full review »

I was using a standard coffee maker with the old style filters throughout my college years and I was getting pretty sick of it. I knew I needed a cone filter compatible coffee maker but I did not know what model. So after about 6 months of looking at different models, and drooling at the 300 dollar... Read full review »
Cuisinart Grind 'n Brew - Makes great coffee if you don't mind the mess
I'm not a coffee snob. But I do enjoy a good cup of joe from freshly smashed beans. And I like it to be done for me when I wake up. So my wife let me purchase the Cuisinart Grind 'n Brew Coffee Maker a few years ago and it has served me well.

my love/hate relationship
We just purchased this coffeemaker as a Christmas present and have already developed a love/hate relationship with it. My husband and I are coffee fanatics and were extremely interested in a coffeemaker that grinds the coffee directly prior to brewing. We love the flavor result of freshly ground... Read full review »
Wake Up and Smell the Coffee
The Cuisinart Coffee Bar 10-Cup Automatic Grind and Brew did not provide the quality and reliability I would expect from a High-End Small Appliances manufacturer. Let me tell how about my experience with the Grind and Brew.
What a Deal

Coffee heaven :)
My husband and I are big coffee drinkers. Therefore, we have gone through several different coffee makers, all of them breaking within the first year. Well this one has lasted two so far. The main feature that attracted me to this product was the coffee bean grinder built right into the machine, no... Read full review »
