At least I won't break another carafe

Cuisinart DCC-450 Coffeemaker - LEAKS!!!
Okay, I was forewarned, reviews I read spoke of the carafe leaking but I didn't believe them. After six weeks it started leaking so bad a towel needed to be under it and it wasn't just a drop or two. Other than that it's good, but would prefer a glass carafe. Read full review »

Cuisinart 4-cup (?) coffee maker -- Don't buy it!
I have just bought one of these from BBB to replace a Krups small coffeemaker which burned out. The new Cuisinart is the worst coffeemaker I have ever owned. Poor purchase
The 4-cup coffee maker is cute, but does not function well. The pot and the filter do not line up well, so sometimes the water does not all drain into the pot until the pot is removed, and then it pours out onto the burner.
