Works great - easy out of the box; makes cooking fun again!
This food processor (identical, in black) was a birthday gift from my mother six months ago. I was kind of wanting a blender, but when we got to the appliance store (Cayne's in Toronto), the display of "jumbo Cuisinarts" kind of sucked me in, and here we are today... :-)

Reliable Brand Name
I have had the same Cuisinart food processor for over 25 years and felt it was time for a new one. I was a bit disappointed at some of the changes they made over the years. I CAN'T IMAGINE COOKING WITHOUT IT
I bought this as a gift for my husband, but I have since become addicted to it.
It does everything a food processor should, slicing, grating, mixing and so on. I have found it to be reliable, and have had no problems with it in the three years I have owned it.

I've worked with several food processors models and sizes, for over 25 years. Cuisinart is by far the BEST and this model is a great VALUE and SIZE.

Makes it easy to prep meals
Makes quick work of block cheese, hard vegetables, or other things you want to shred. Purees hummus in no time, makes bread crumbs and bread doughs, and generally is very useful for making meals fast. I love my food processor!
