I've had other bread machines in my life.  They were just test drives really.  Puppy love.  Then I met the Cuisinart CBK-200.  Love.  True love.

I use this particular appliance five out of seven days a week.  I know this machine.  At any given time it is... Read full review »

I used to own a Hitachi bread maker and basically ran it to destruction with nearly 700 pounds of flour. It's been a few years now without a bread machine and I had been feeling like I'd like to have one again. I saw the Cuisinart CBK-200 Bread Maker on sale at Kohl's for $99.00 and bought one... Let me start off by being truthful here. I am the world's worst baker. Everyone, even my dogs run when they see me coming with experimental bread and rolls.

On a camping trip, one of the ladies brought over a freshly made loaf of bread. It was still warm and tasted so delicious. We ate it... Read full review »

I have been making bread twice a week with the Cuisinart CBK-200 Bread Maker for over a year now and am very happy with my purchase. I asked my wife to buy this Cuisinart CBK-200 for me for Christmas.  My previous breadmaker was a gift from my ex girlfriend, given to me in Feb 2000, for replacing the brakes in my car even after we had split up.  Anyhoo, THAT breadmaker was a Breadman, and I... Read full review »

Our old 2 lb Black and Decker finally died after 10 years (yes 10) and 100’s of loaves. We liked the look of the Cuisinart and thought the convection feature would be interesting. We have only had it for a month (approximately 6 to 7 loaves) and so far so good, with a few... Read full review »

Pros Throw and go bread.  It does it all.
Cons I'd love a more robust display and a non-stick drive shaft.

After 10 years of diligently making bread by hand, I broke down and sold my soul to the Bread Machine industry.  I felt so dirty.  But I confess - it's been a godsend.  So my review is as much a comparison of breadmachine vs. handmade as anything else.

We have also used it to make non-standard recipes that we found online such as naan bread dough, and flavoured pizza dough etc. We've... Read full review »
