Great sound, but bit bulky
I got this thing for almost 5 months and since then found a whole new world of the sound of music. The sound quality is comparable to my low-end Yamaha 5.1 amplifier. The time spent commuting between places seem to be much shorter than before. The interface is also very simple and intuitive to use... Read full review »
$250 paper weight
had my nomad xtra for about 2 months. everything was fine till it happen to fall on the ground once. once it did that the hard drive went bad. couldn't get anything out of it. sent it to creative hoping they'll fix it, but didn't happen since the warranty was void because you can't drop the player... Better than rio karma
Great layout, lots of room, easy to use, big screen and smart button placing. the rio karma had none of these but the space. the button layout on rio karma is stupid..to say the least. what is up with the joy stick? Read full review »

It was hard to use, downloaded songs slowly and was just plain big compared to an iPod... plus not as much room for my music collection. I can't really describe exactly why the... Read full review »
big, ugly, and functional
When I decided it was time to catch up with normal society and invest in a high capacity mp3 player, i was stunned at the prices especially for the apple gold standard ipod. 300 dollars and up seemed to be the starting point until I read an add for a $90 thirty gig mp3, the Creative Technology... 120 G !!!
Refurbished for 80 bucks. Hacked mine and replaced the drive with a 120 gig drive (80 bucks). Tons of space left for pics and whatever. Awesome value. Awesome size. 120 gig MP3 players for 160 bucks. SWEET. Read full review »
Cheaper than iPod. More room than iPod. what else?
I started out with 30GB but have upgraded to 60GB. All for less than one iPod.
Do we want looks or performance?
