My son is 5 and he uses this seat every day. He can put on his own seatbelt when he is in this seat so that is great. It is also comfortable. The cup holder on the side works well. Read full review »

Good Booster Seat.

Pros Safe, Comfortable, Easy to Use
Cons Bulky
Recommended it? Yes

I have two 6 year olds and two of these booster seats take up most of the back seat of our minivan.  I also have a toddler and her car seat takes up less space than the Cosco boosters.  Other than their size, these car seats are great.  They are comfortable and I feel... Read full review »

Pros Safe, Comfortable, Easy to Use

We bought this one when our son was old enough to be in the booster seat. I didn't want the big bulky ones. This one wasn't very expensive and it does the job. I throw the cover in the washer when it's dirty. It didn't shrink, still fits great and we've had it for a year. It's easy to move from car... Read full review »

A decent booster for the price... great for a spare or a main seat

Pros lightweight, easy to use, attractive colors at KMART
Cons not good for younger booster riders
Recommended it? Yes

My oldest son is now in just a seatbelt, but before that, he rode in boosters.

As he got bigger, he outgrew them not only by height, but by width and depth. His legs would not be properly supported in some, and he could barely squeeze into others.

It was time to find him a... Read full review »

Cheap and small. Not designed for comfort.

Pros Cheap. Very easy to move between cars and buckle in properly.
Cons Not comfortable-virtually no padding. The "armrests" pop off. Dark blue plastic.
Recommended it? No

I purchased this when my son outgrew his other carseat. This is rated for 40-100 lbs. There was a huge price gap-this one was $18 and the next model was $60. I more or less got this to use until I could afford a better one.

1)Price: This was the main reason I purchased this.It was only... Read full review »

While all of my children are grown and way beyond needing a car seat or booster seat in the car, occasionally with my family home daycare children we get to take small field trips.

Pros Inexpensive, Portable
Cons Not much padding

When I took my first child home from the hospital in her cute little infant carrier almost five years ago, I had no idea just how many car seats one child would need during her lifetime. In the days before we knew to search reviews of baby gear, we simply looked at what was available and made our... Read full review »

Finally, a good deal on a Booster Chair!

byrlmangum Mar 13, 2005
9 Helpfuls 10 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Low cost, light weight, sturdy, has a cup-holder, and a snap to set up.
Cons The seat is unsecured when empty. Maybe "buckling up" empty seat is a good idea.
Recommended it? Yes

After anxiously awaiting the time when we could switch from the regular "head-banging" car seat to a booster seat, we almost missed the Wal-mart sale of $13.56 for the Cosco brand. I'm glad we waited and I'm glad we did NOT get ripped off. This seat fills the bill nicely, is easy to use and change... Read full review »
