Pros versatile, comfortable
Cons A little pricey, somewhat bulky
Recommended it? Yes

My husband and I wanted a car seat for our 5-month old that would grow with him. Since kids grow very quickly, why spend money on three separate restraint pieces when you can buy the Cosco Alpha Omega instead? We went to Babies R Us and had the sales guy demonstrate it to us. It is an infant car... Read full review »

Pros Goes from infant to booster, rear faces to 35 lbs., has tether strap
Cons Straps twist and are almost impossible to tighten enough
Recommended it? No

My mother purchased this carseat to use in her car. She liked that she could use it for my 10 month old daughter as well as her 4 year old grandson. As an infant seat I find the seat to be a bit of a pain. My daughter doesn't look very comfortable in it and the straps are almost impossible to... Read full review »

Pros quality, secure, long term use
Cons may be too big for a small car

When we began to look at car seats since my daughter was fast outgrowing her infant seat, I was totally impressed by this convertible car seat. I really like the fact that I shouldn't have to buy another car seat for her again (unless an unfortunate accident would happen). An exceptional thing... Read full review »

When my son grew out of his infant seat we went in search for the perfect new car seat. We heard from many friends to try the Alpha Omega by Cosco. So we went out and found the 5 point Alpha Omega.
While looking at it we were very impressed by the features it offered. There were a few things... Read full review »

Pros Use until 70-lbs.
Cons none
Recommended it? Yes

This is a fantastic car seat! My son was a big boy when he was born and outgrew his first car seat after 3 months. After several weeks researching, we agreed to buy the Alpha Omega because it took us from a newborn rear-facing stage and will last until he is 70-lbs. It is a very well constructed... Pros Fits infants to children of 80 pounds
Cons It is a little difficult to get used to buckling in.
Recommended it? Yes

I purchased the Cosco Alpha Omega because of the recommendation from other parents. It is a complete gem. It reclines so that my child can sit in three different positions. Also, it has a five point harness so that I know that she will be safe and secure inside it. Another thing that I love about... Read full review »

Flipping through a Parent?s magazine a few months back, I happened across an advertisement for the ?Alpha Omega? car seat by Cosco. The first thing that caught my eye was that the ad had a picture of three car seats that looked practically identical. Upon closer inspection, I realized that those... Read full review »

Cons Video should be included

We were having major problems with our 18 month old, we could not keep him in the carseat. This was becoming extremely dangerous as he seemed to be out of his previous seat in seconds and usually waited until we were moving before making his 'dash for freedom'.

In desperation we went down... Read full review »

I researched car seats online and in stores before purchasing the Alpha Omega. My research caused me to pass on the shielded model pictured. I opted for the five point harness model without the shield. I am glad I did. I looked at the shielded model in stores and didn't care for the shield but the... Read full review »

Cons Crotch buckle too close.

I looked and looked and looked for a good car seat. I purchased this in March of 2001. I bought this online and when it arrived I was fascinated. I love how you never have to mess with pulling out straps. You just pull on a bar in the back and presto, your done. I do wish this had a cup holder like... Read full review »
