Disappointing purchase

Pros Nothing good about this carseat
Cons Straps twist making it difficult to tighten
Recommended it? No

We purchased this carseat and have had nothing but problems with it. The straps twist all the time, making it difficult to downright impossible to tighten the straps. We bought this carseat because we got such a good deal on it ($89), but considering what a pain the straps are, I would say we... Read full review »

Great car seat if you don't have to adjust the harness

Pros Nice color and style, easy to clean
Cons Harness does not adjust as needed and is not safe.
Recommended it? No

I chose this carseat because my sister has it and recommended it. I only used it once my son was facing forward, as there wasn't enough room in my car to face it backwards, unless the person in front wanted to eat their knees.
The seat itself is well constructed, but I had issues with the... Read full review »

Seat was just ok

Pros Easy to install
Cons Straps twist Our seat cracked down the side.
Recommended it? No

We had this seat for our son. It was easy to install and comfortable, but the straps twisted a lot and eventually the side of the seat just cracked. Cosco does have excellent customer service and they gave us a full refund, no questions asked, but overall I was not just thrilled with the seat. Read full review »

Pros Great buy for those who need an easily adjustable seat that grows with your child!
Cons Do not opt for the one with the shield, use the 5 pt harness instead.
Recommended it? Yes

A friend told me about a great deal on the Alpha Omega seat online. Since my daughter was rapidly outgrowing her infant seat way ahead of schedule, we opted to go for one that would hold until she reached the high end of 70 lbs. So we purchased it and it was even better than we thought it would be... Read full review »

Pros 3 car seats in one!
Cons will not fit in some small cars in reverse facing position
Recommended it? Yes

Like most parents these day my wife and I both work and have two cars. So we need two car seats so we don't have to move one seat between the two cars all the time. Also like most parents we don't want to spend a fortune of car seats, especially since in Indiana kids have to be in a booster seat... Read full review »

Pros An all around good car seat!!
Cons None

I absolutely love this car seat, we just purchased it my son is 11 months old, and we have found this is the most versatile seat ever! Our oldest son had an Evenflo carseat (just standard) and we would have much rather spent the extra money and got the Alpha Omega!! It has one handed reclining, no... Read full review »

Pros 5point, easy latch harness and easily adjustable straps
Cons recline positions
Recommended it? Yes

We recently purchased a Cosco Alpha Omega carseat after our daughter outgrew her carseat carrier at four months. What initially attracted me to this model was the fact that it covered a wide range of stages. Therefore, through this child and future children we can get a lot of use out of it.

Almost Perfect Seat

Pros I won't have to buy another carseat
Cons Big/ hard to buckle
Recommended it? Yes

We purchased this carseat when my son outgrew his rear facing infant seat at only 6 1/2 months old. He wasn't old enough to move to a forward facing seat, but too heavy to be safe in his old seat.

So it was off to find a rear facing seat for "big boys". Not an easy task. We wanted to find... Read full review »

Pros Grows with the child with ease.
Cons Straps twist up easily on the 5 point harness.
Recommended it? Yes

I purchased this car seat for our daughter when she was 6 months old. She was getting too big for the infant carrier, but I wanted something that wouldn't be swallowing her. She is now 18 months old and still fits perfectly in this car seat. I am very impressed with how every time she grows I can... Read full review »

Pros grows with the child
Cons It took a few times to get use to adjusting the seat's straps
Recommended it? Yes

My son was a big baby and grew out of his infant car seat quickly. We shopped for months before he was born and after before deciding on the Alpha Omega. We chose it for the quality brand and the fact that it grows with your child. It will adjust for infants-toddlers 5lbs-80lbs. Although it is... Read full review »
