Going in to college I needed something that could help schedule and manage my life. Simply having pocket Word and Excel has made things so much easier. I added a 128 meg Secure Digital card and filled it up with mp3's. This thing makes an excellent mp3 player as well with the built in windows media... Read full review »

After trying out the Compaq iPaq Pocket PC H3835 unit, I was both elated and utterly disappointed. The functions and capabilities of this unit are marvelous. It will sync with Outlook, it records your voice, and even plays MP3 files! However, the ultra-short battery life does not give you enough... Read full review »

iPAQ's are coming along, but still have some glitches to remove. After having a 3600 series which ALWAYS had dust behind the screen, and had a scratch preventing proper text recognition, I welcomed the opportunity to upgrade to the 3835. Out of the box the unit looked wonderful, and even came with... Read full review »

All in all this product is very good. It features PocketPC 2002 which has an intuitive interface design. It makes it very easy to access the most important parts straight from the "desktop" such as tasks and email. Using the bundled software, which is quite abundant, you can do everything from... I won't regurgitate the other fine information I've seen in my peer reviewers' notes, because for the most part I would agree with what they've observed; except for some obviously subjective issues such as battery life (depends on your intended use - I only need to recharge every 2-3 days and I... I've owned well over 10 PDAs, and the iPaq 3835 is perhaps the most full-featured of all of them. If you're looking for something that nearly replaces your notebook computer, look no further. If you're looking for a PDA, you may want to think again.

Before I begin talking about why I like my new IPAQ 3835, let me start off by saying I have been an avid Palm user for the past four years and switching to a Pocket PC was no easy task (no pun intended). A few weeks ago my Palm Vx gave out. During the past few years I have had a Palm III, a Palm... Read full review »
