Useless if you can't find spare parts

Pros While it worked, it was ok.

Cons Terrible Compaq service Can't find replacement parts

This was a good machine until I had to go to Compaq to get a replacement pair of batteries.
The secondary batteries died suddendly and the people at Compaq told me that it they did not manufacture the spare parts anymore.

Pros Inexpensive but rich in features

Cons small monochrome screen

When I was looking for a PDA my criteria included the ff:
(1) Price had to be below $300
(2) It must be Compact-Flash card ready
(3) It must be able to play digital music, such as MP3.

Pros Good feel, Nice screen and button locations, Pocket PC a real PLUS, very thin

Cons Stylus location could be better, CF slot too thin

I love this unit, it has a great screen and good feel in the hand. It is thin enough to fit in slack pockets and I can easly take it anywhere I go. Pocket PC is a major plus. Pros Plenty of fun and useful features

Cons the encryption is a little glitchy

I have been using my AERO 1550 for about 2 weeks now. What can I say. It synched up with Outlook 2000 with virtually no problems. The Excel worksheet I use the most often worked flawlessly.
