Coby DVD-207 Portable DVD Player without Screen

Coby's compact DVD-207 affords DVD and CD playback from a device about the size of a soft-cover book. Whether you're ferrying the player between the kitchen and the bedroom or hooking it up for periodic use by the kids, the DVD-207's small size permits myriad uses. While not quite portable in the traditional sense--the unit has no screen and requires AC power--the DVD-207 is much easier to move around, set-up, and use than a traditional component DVD player.

Pros Plays some good formats.
Cons The player itself has problems with any feature.

Pros It's small and it's a DVD player for a good price
Cons It doesn't play many DVDs well at all

This DVD player will only play PERFECT DVDs, these are DVDs that you bought and were brand new out of the box type things, and even then it doesn't play some of them very well...

Pros size and cost
Cons not dependable at all. lifespan--about 10 dvds
Recommended it? No

I thought this was going to be a good deal. The size was just right--very small and sleek. The price was great too. BUT, you do get what you pay for.
