NOT 20 MILES OR EVEN CLOSE
I just purchased Cobra Li6500 thinking that it can reach 20 miles or at least half of advertised range. I'm very disappointed that it works only within 2-km range and not even consistent in the effectiveness. Don't buy this model. It's a piece of crap. Mine is made in China. Read full review »
Beware - Made in Hong Kong!
I am filming the pilot for a reality show which entails the use of two way radios and upon advice from my producer I purchased two sets totaling four units. Stay Clear of These
My radios are garbage. I have tried the suggestions from Cobra with both CTCSS and DCS sub-channels set. I've gone through the user manual and tried numerous settings. I cannot even get them to send the alert tone between radios, with or without squelch. I cannot even communicate between two rooms... Read full review »
