Volume 7 of this popular series of CDs is new for 2004 and features singers and songwriters from the Pacific Northwest to benefit Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Seattle, Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland and Children’s Miracle Network in Spokane. Christmas in the Northwest 7 features Saving up Christmas a touching tribute to our fighting troops and the families who love and miss them - especially during the holidays. Written by Sue Ennis and Hummie Mann, arranged by Steven Ray Allen and sung by Loni Rose, Saving up Christmas touches everyone who hears it! Volume 7 also includes the new song Christmas Time, written and produced by Casey James (Bell & James)and sung by the phenominal 17 year old Leah LaBelle. This CD also includes a beautiful new song On Christmas Day by Michael Tomlinson, the funny Here Comes Christmas from Beau Killett, and great arrangements from Michael Allen Harrison, Aaron Meyer & Bill Lamb, Craig Linder, Walt Wanger and more. The Chad Mitchell Trio, a favorite across America in the 60’s and 70’s, are back as well with an all new recording of Virgin Mary. As of 2003, this project has raised over $650,000 for Children's Hospitals, and net proceeds from the sale of this CD benefit northwest children’s hospitals - so that no child is turned away, regardless of their ability to pay for medical care.
