This was a must for us
We have two cars that we travel in daily with our daughter, so taking the base out of one and putting it in another all the time was out of the question. Nice for 2 cars
We loved our chicco keyfit carseat and the fact that it had a higher weight limit than the seat we used with our first child. Having a 2nd base is great to make switching to the 2nd car an ease.
