The subject of this review is a 2005 Trailblazer LT 4X4 with the LT Package 1 and the Sun and Sound package. I purchased this vehicle almost two years ago, while GM was running the employee discount promotion. I paid approximately $26,220 (including a $2500 cash rebate on top of the employee price)... Please note: The photo is not a 2005 Trailblazer. For those who are able, please update the pics (pull down the Chevy Avalanche and put up a TB). Thanks!!

Pros Large Cargo area with fold down seats. Great 4WD. Roomy Back Seat
Cons None

We found out we were moving from NC to Montana and decided that we needed a four wheel drive vehicle for me to drive. (I had been driving a 92 Pontiac Firebird). We went to a reliable Chevrolet dealership, and the trailblazer just jumped out at me. We drove the vehicle from NC to Montana (about... Read full review »

Pros Great visibility, I can manuver very easily with out a second thought about rolling over.
Cons No cons, GM has done a great job of listening to what people want.
Recommended it? Yes

I guess you could call me a proud new owner of a Trail Blazer. To tell you the truth I was not even looking to buy a new vehicle when I bought mine. I had a GMC Sierra with only 20,000 miles on it when the first time I took one out for a spin to see what to show perspective buyers. To say the least... Read full review »

At the end of my review for the 2004 Trailblazer I let you know that my wife had been involved in a accident with it.and it was in for repairs. Back ordered parts and my leaving for deployment forced us into by another trailblazer as we had been happy with the last on. A 2005 was available at a... Read full review »

Pros Driveability, comfort, everything really
Cons Nothing so far

Yesterday we traded in our beloved 1997 Blazer LS 4WD for a slightly used 2005 Trailblazer LS 2WD. And we love it.

Obviously we haven't gone very far yet - we drove into downtown LA to go to the King Tut Exhibition, and then back home. But we are very, very happy. Compared to the old... Read full review »

Cons gas mileage,ground clearance,included tires

I purchased my 2005 Trailblazer in February of 2005. I had found the one I wanted - I just couldn't locate one. Finally, I broke down and ordered one directly from Chevrolet. My previous vehicle was a 1995 S-10 that lasted for 230,000 miles, and all I had to change was tires and a clutch, so I am... Read full review »

Pros Comfort, reliability
Cons Miles per gallon

The 2005 Chevy Trailblazer is a well put together SUV with many standard features that used to be options (OnStar is the most notable). The interior has plenty of room for five, while still leaving ample room in the back for anything you might need to take on a long trip. The seats are comfortable... Read full review »

Almost 15 months new and I still love it.......

Pros Excellent ride, powerful smooth I6, short turning radius, luxury features such as memory...
Cons Some wind noise, creaks in doors over bumps, dust gets by weatherstripping
Recommended it? Yes

The engine is a big plus on this vehicle and a big reason why I bought it. I wanted the latest and greatest technology and the Vortex I6 delivers. The wireless throttle makes accelerations a driving pleasure instead of a chore like on a Toyota (my last vehicle). It handles like a luxury vehicle but... Read full review »

Pros Really fun to drive!
Cons Gas mileage could be better, but would come at expense of power.
Recommended it? Yes

I bought this car as a one year old demo with 64 miles on it. The price was about 19 thousand due to its 'used' car status. It has no four wheel drive (not needed, I'll probably never go off the road with it) and has the in-line six engine. I'm very pleased with the vehicle. Plenty of power, good... Read full review »
