Great For its Time
Preface:
I own and use a Compaq IPaq pda daily. I have bought, used and given to my siblings Casio E125, EM-500 and E-105s. As such, I will offer comparisons amongst the models when possible. Given the amount of information available on Microsoft's PocketPC (WinCE 3) and WinCE 2.xx operating...

Blows away all others...!
My wife bought me a Handspring Visor Deluxe for our anniversary...and paid $250 for it. Gray scale, 8Mb, Palm OS, etc. I returned it the next day and began looking for the "Best Value" on the market. What I found was the Casio Cassiopeia line of PDA's. I wasn't prepared to pay $400-500, so I... Read full review »
this is Modern Wonder
With the birth of IPAQ, people are really into PDAs now;I am fan of Casio Cassiopeia though; it has great multimedia functions; u can play MP3 with great player skin; load gameboy emulator to play games; manage ur personal stuffs; do computing functions; or even surf on the net. and all these with... Good Machine, but is it worth the price?
I have had the fortune of owning several PDA?s in a long string of upgrading. The Cassiopeia E-100 is a very nice machine. Except for a very nice screen (the best I have ever seen on handheld computer) its not so aesthetically pleasing. It?s very big for what it dose and for me size is a lot. In... Read full review »
a computer in pocket!
This is one in a long line of PDA's it all started with a Psion C then to a series 5 then to a Clio then a Palm VX and finally the Casio.
The size (thicknes)is a little larger than the Palm VX but the features and compatability is worth it. Battery life is good I get threw an 8 hr day with...

Great Deal
I got this product over Palm and other Windows CE machines because it boasted pretty good memory, speed and color quality. Right now, the E-115 is a tad better and I took advantage of Casio's upgrade offer. Windows CE was decent, but the Pocket PC OS is superior in so many ways. My only complaint... Read full review »
Compact computing at its best
It has unbelievable features. I bought the Cassiopeia quite a while ago and have been happy with it ever since. I would not upgrade to the Pocket PC or any other PDA platform as then non of my current programs I use would work, though I don't consider this to be a drawback as I am completely happy... Great P/PC - A Must Have
This Palm PC is a must have if you are like me and are looking for something that will basically do everything that your desktop will do. I love this little compact unit because I can travel with it and play all my MP3s instead of some bulky CD player and also check all my latest news and stock... Read full review »
Cassiopeia E-100
Ahhh the E-100, what a gem. After a couple of weeks of hunting this unit down in local and not so local retail stores I came up empty handed. Needless to say I resorted to one of the "web" auctions and found the perfect one. After having experienced with a earlier Casio (A-10) and a Philips Velo 1,... Read full review »
Bezel needs to be redesigned!
I purchased the E100 from Buy.com which was an excellent experience. Unfortunately the screen on my system hairline cracked. It cracked at the top where the bezel that surrounds the screen is raised. I think the bezel should be convex shaped \/ instead of concave /\. Or incorporate a hard... Read full review »
An Excellent PDA
I recently purchased the Cassiopeia and am completely satisfied. The color screen is 100% easier to see and in general much better than the monochrome screen of my previous PDA. With great features such as a built in MP3 player which can be used to bring music on the go, make this a great buy as... Read full review »
Very nice!
I purchased this product instead of the E105 (because it never arrived).
I really like the color screen, and the many programs you can load onto it. FYI... If you do buy this product, there is alot of cheap software available at www.download.com.
The PDA beeps and a light flashes to remind...

It's Great! Feature-Packed!
If you want an overpriced replacement for
your Month-At-a-Glance planner, stop here.
Go buy a Palm. If you want a reasonably
priced (for features vs. Palm platforms),
feature-rich, colorful platform, get a Win
CE machine. Windows CE is finally getting
its share of the...

Keeps me on my Toes!
Wow! I've had my Cassiopeia E-100 since December and I really love it. And no it's not just a $300 GameBoy! I really use it. I'm a full time student and I was able to program my entire class schedule into it. I m able to take class notes on it and then go home 'SYNC' it to my home PC and print out... Read full review »
Best Bang for your Buck
I have owned and used the Cassiopeia E-100 for 6 months now. I did not get the E-105 because it was $100 more and all it added was 16 MB of memory. For $85 I can add 64MB of Memory. So I chose the E-100 and I am beyond happy with it. The most incredible feature of this device is its syncing... Read full review »
It's a cool gadget
After using a Palm for 2 years, I finally decided to make the switch and jump onto the world of color PDA. I love the Palm OS, too bad palm doesn't have any color PDA, and I have to settle with a Windows CE. The Casio Cassiopeia E-100 stands out as the best of all color windows CE.
The...

A useful toy
I picked up my Cassiopeia (upon which I am writing this review) as a gift to myself in celebration of getting a new job. I didn't really need one, as I'm not one of those always-on-the-go people. Still, I thought it would be fun to have and I'm a sucker for anything high-tech. Now, after having... Read full review »
Matt's Opinion
The Casio Cassiopeia is a very good PDA. I've got one, and it does everything I need. The Windows CE operating system is especially useful because I can coordinate it with outlook, the software I use on my desktop. I just hold it up to my IR port and sync it up. It's a pretty cool feature that most... Read full review »
Easy on the Eyes
For anyone looking to purchase a PDA, my advise is to give the Cassiopeia E-100 a real close look. While it is slightly heavier than the Palm Pilot series it more that makes up for it in it's outstanding color display. Excellent in any light with better resolution that other manufacturers color... Get one, if you can!!
I received an E-100 2 weeks ago (by luck on Amazon.com). My wife has had a Palm Pilot 3 for about a year now. So I've had a good chance to compare the two platforms. Here are my takes:
* As you've probably heard from other reviews, the color screen is simply phenomenal! We also have a Dell...
