Tiny but mighty
I previously had a Nikon Coolpix 850, and while it was a very good camera, I just found it too damn big to carry around. The Canon is about half the size of the Nikon, and fits quite comfortably in my shirt pocket.

Great Product
I bought an S100 about 2 months ago. Since then, I have not had one single problem with it. It takes great outdoor pictures, decent night pictures, but it takes absolutely amazing close up pictures. Size Obviously Doesn't Matter
