Pros Small size, good viewfinder, nice colors, good snapshots for family, friends and online.
Cons Smallish buttons are difficult for thick fingers, grainy in the dark, weak flash.
Recommended it? Yes

Before I spend a lot of time talking about aperture, ISO, F-stop settings and glamour portraiture, I have to tell you this: I'm rating this camera based on whether it does what it - by its style, appearance, and price - leads a reasonable person to believe it ought to do. And I think it... Read full review »

Pros Small, stylish, cute, well built.
Cons Poor picture quality which contain excessive noise.
Recommended it? No

This is a very cute little camera. It is small and stylish, well built, fits in a pocket. This is the best part about this camera. After that it is mostly downhill.

The camera was purchased to replace my wife's broken Canon A85 4mp camera. Her favorite color is red, she likes small stylish... Read full review »

compact camera with better than average quality

Pros compact size, reasonably efficient when using auto mode, VIEWFINDER is wonderful
Cons buttons are a bit tiny, several steps to get optimal image in unique lighting environments
Recommended it? Yes

This camera was purchased last summer to replace a lost camera.  It is very difficult to find a small point/shoot camera with a viewfinder.  The viewfinder is very good to have when shooting on bright sunny days as the LCD is difficult to view.
I was using the camera this... Read full review »

Pros Convenient & easy to carry camera. Pictures this camera renders are perfect for everyday...
Cons Battery life could be longer, pictures could be a bit sharper. Charger not fast enough.
Recommended it? Yes

I did my homework before my purchase and paid particular attention to the reviewers negatives on the net about this camera, it really boiled down to a 50/50 ratio of good vs bad from my point of view. So I decided to make my purchase and give it my own test run. I own 4 Canon Camera's to include... Read full review »

Pros Excellent value for the money, great quality point and shoot camera
Cons Only up to 3x optical zoom, can blur if taking pics in motion.
Recommended it? Yes

If you dig through my reviews you will find one that was done about 6 years ago on a Canon Powershot A300.  This was my first real digital camera and for the price it was hard to beat the specs (at the time) and the picture quality.  I really liked the camera and the menu/software as I... The Canon SD780IS ELPH camera:

I had this camera for only a day so the impressions are based on only this 1 day of testing which is to say isn't a lot. But from what I tried the bottome line is I love this camera.

I had a Canon SD850 IS ELPH camera before this and I loved that camera... Read full review »

Pros Batter Life, HD video, 12.1 megapixels
Cons Panorama option not very good.
Recommended it? Yes

This wonderous little item takes such quality photos (12.1 mp) that it is more than you will ever need.  Its sleek, smooth design packs a serious punch.  It works well in cloudy, low light conditions.  But there are some very obvious cons to this camera.

Namely, if you always... Read full review »

Perfect Little All-Purpose Camera

byannwendy Dec 14, 2009
3 Helpfuls 4 Helpfuls Was this review helpful? Comment
Pros Compact size, optical viewfinder, customizable settings, anti-shake feature, affordable,...
Cons Small size may be bad for large hands, ultra close-ups sometimes blurry
Recommended it? Yes

I was a little concerned about buying this camera, I'll admit. My previous camera was a Sony mega-zoom -- a digital camera that looked like an SLR, ie: substantial, with big handholds and a big optical viewfinder. But the Sony had two problems - 1) it stopped working, and 2) even before it stopped... Read full review »

Great Camera, fantastic picture quality Never blurry, never red eyes, just great pictures.  12.4 Megapixel, HD video capable but you must buy the mini HDMI cable.  Easily Fits in your pocket, it is almost too small but is just perfect size.  Zoom works good for a 3.0 zoom lens.  This is what you...
