Thin and pretty aren't everything.
This camera takes very good photos and HD video because of it's excellent wide angle lens, image stabilizer and image processor. But it's shooting speed isn't fast, it has limited zoom range (4x) and it needs a flash in low light and it's not cheap.

Update - After using this camera a little more, I cannot believe how dark all of the pictures come out on automatic setting. I read such great reviews on this camera, and when I received it as a gift, I used it once and had to return it.
When taking photo's - any object that is slightly moving comes out blurry. Any indoor photo's comes out looking faded. The color quality is not good. Pictures come out...
