Great camera for the novice looking to upgrade their skills

Best combination of features and performance at its price and target group
Better lens - beats nikon, other canons and lower prices minolta G500 etc. Sure Sony DSC V1 has a Carls Zeiss, canon's is rated superior to the lens on the Sony.
