Black Line On Back of the Paper

Broke after 4 months of light use
After studying various ink jet printers on PC Magazine Dot Com, I settled on the Canon MP500. Generally, I used the printer for light documents and, after two months, decided to print off some 4x6 pictures. After replacing the ink cartridges, I booted up the printer. Worked great while under warranty
This was my first venture into all-in-one printers. I needed a printer with the print, scan, copy function and purchased the MP500 18 months ago based on reviews at the time. Printing color photos used a lot of ink. I found it easier and cheaper to get my photos printed elsewhere.

CANON PIXMA MP500
Nice looking body.A little bit on the big side though. I tried 2 different printers before this one, and kept this because the print came out the best! Canon Ink Cart. are a real PAIN for PIXMA MP500

Don't Bother
The MP500 is no longer on the shelf. It's probably just as well. I believe the MP530 is the replacement, but it takes different ink tanks. I've been to several stores for CLI 8 tanks: Office Max does not carry, Office Max is sold out, Best Buy carries a limited supply but is out of 8M, CompUSA says... Read full review »
