Great printer for the price
Before I talk about the Canon Pixma ip4000, please let me explain what drove me to buy one. Maybe other people can relate to my experience.
I have used Epson Stylus Photo printers exclusively for the last 6 years. First I used an Epson Stylus Photo 870, and then I replaced the 870 with an...

Canon Pixma: Get 70% off with this coupon
My most recent printers have all been nightmares -- with uneven print quality and ridiculously expensive toner cartridges. Needless to say, I was printer-jaded for a couple of years, until I finally decided to start scouting the market for a reasonably priced, decent printer. Laser was out the... Read full review »
Canon Pixma iP4000: A Great Photo Printer
The Canon S750 that I had purchased about three years ago started having problems with the print head. Instead of replacing it out for a new one, I figured that I would just get a new printer and give the S750 to my sister. I was looking at upping the photo quality of my photos anyway.

Quiet as a Mouse
I have recently purchased the new canon Pixma ip4000, following the demise of my Epson cx3200. I decided not to buy another Epson , because all the ones I have had have been either, noisy, unreliable and prone to paper jams. The quality of the Epson print, seems unrivalled in the home printer... Read full review »
This printer exceeds expectations!
Based on the stellar reviews this printer has received, it's almost pointless to add another one, but I maybe I can comment on some aspects that have not yet been covered.
The bottom line first: this printer is absolutely amazing value for the money (including running costs) and has...

Great Everyday Color Printer
I recently purchased this printer for software interface design work at home. So far, it performs well, and is very easy to use.
I like the independent ink cartridges, because my work often can go months working with the same colors. My last printer, an Epson, had one, three color ink...

iP4000 and iP4000R with an "R" for remote
The "R" at the end of the model number, iP4000R, is the same printer as the iP4000, but adds circuitry in the printer enabling it to be accessed wirelessly (Remotely). Otherwise the printer is identical to the model without the "R" letter.
This is the first Canon printer I have tried...

Feels great to upgrade
I was tired of not wanting to use my Canon BJC-6000 for even simple text jobs as the ink tanks can cost. It was a very good printer but a dinosaur nonetheless. I researched and researched and finally came upon the PIXMA series printers by Canon.
My first PIXMA printer I looked at was the...

Printing photos has never been easier!
I bought this printer primarily for photo printing and I'm quite satisfied. I love the convenience of printing photos at home that are almost as good as what I get from a photo store. And I can print 1 or 50... it's quick and easy with the included software, which also lets me crop and lightly edit... Read full review »
Superb printer - Low cost per page.
I purchased the Canon Pixma ip4000 to replace a noisy inexpensive Epson printer. I wanted the printer to be quiet, capable of high quality output, and inexpensive to run. I've had other Epson, Xerox, Canon and HP printers and this Canon printer is equal or superior to them in almost every way.
