CANON PIXMA iP4000 Inkjet Printer
The Canon Pixma iP4000 printer is in my opinion, one of the best on the market for overall picture use and works well for an all purpose printer. Having used this printer for a year now, it still performs without a flaw. I would say the quality of the photos depends on the paper and the program... Read full review »
Excellent Printer - Great Value
After a few months with this printer, I am extremely pleased with it. It is quiet, efficient, and the quality of print jobs, both text and pictures, exceeds my expectations in a printer at this price point.
Perhaps my positive feelings toward this printer might be thanks to the comparison of a...

Quiet, Oh so quiet
This is a quiet printer, after being used to the earth or rather table rattling gyrations from my previous epson and lexmark inkjets this was a surprise. On my first print from this printer, I was actually waiting for the paper to move in the loading tray to make sure the printer was even printing... Read full review »
Excellent if you don't want high resolution photo printing
Bought this ip4000 because of the uniformly high reviews. I've been using HP inkjets for years and have been reasonably satisfied but the specs for the 4000 for the price looked unbeatable. In general, the reviews are right. But when you want to print an image beyond 6" wide in "standard" or higher... Read full review »
By far a superior inexpensive printer.
This is the fourth printer I have owned and with the iP4000, I can't imagine it getting any better. It is so much quicker and my friends can't believe that I produce the photos I give them, in my home office. Canon printers are always more pocketbook friendly due to replacing just the ink color... Great photo quality printer
Replaced older Canon inkjet, and this is far better.
Multiple color cartridges, one per CYMK, which should minimize wasted ink and hopefully cost. Very good quality photos. Very flexible paper loading, from top or front.
Easy to setup. Mine is hooked up as a parallel printer,...

Great 32-Bit Printer - No Support for 64-bit
I purchased mine new on Ebay complete with warranty for less than $70 delivered. It offers crisp and fast printing that offers flexibility in paper size and the very nice feature of separate print cartridges. Most of the reviews suggest this printer costs 50% less to operate due to better... Read full review »
Sucks down ink
I'm not going to go over everything that's already been mentioned here except to bring up something that's really stewed me in the year I've used this printer. It uses ink at a ridiculously rapid rate. I refill the cartridges myself and good thing too or this thing would have been on e-bay by now... Read full review »
Print Head Died
I liked the printer until the print head died. It is expensive to replace. Will not buy another Pixma 4000. Read full review »
