Great 32-Bit Printer - No Support for 64-bit
Pros
Print Clarity, speed, cost (initial and on-going), small footprint
Cons
NO 64-bit driver support at this time
Recommended it?
No
I purchased mine new on Ebay complete with warranty for less than $70 delivered. It offers crisp and fast printing that offers flexibility in paper size and the very nice feature of separate print cartridges. Most of the reviews suggest this printer costs 50% less to operate due to better utilization of ink.
If your running a 32-bit operating system - the above is applicable - great features at a fabulous price.
If you are running Windows XP Professional 64-bit Service Pack 1 - STAY AWAY. There are no drivers that Win XP 64-bit will recognize --- therefore ----No Printer! Emails with Canon have gotten me no where to date.
As a general cautionary note for all peripheral equipment, make sure that you buy products that have official 64-bit drivers. Even if you currently are running 32-bit, 64-bit is here so why not buy products that support that up-and-coming platform.
