Canon Pixma iP4000 InkJet Photo Printer

This is the fourth printer I have owned and with the iP4000, I can't imagine it getting any better. It is so much quicker and my friends can't believe that I produce the photos I give them, in my home office. Canon printers are always more pocketbook friendly due to replacing just the ink color that is depleted....for about $10 each time. One draw back, your computer needs to be quite recent or the printer can't be used easily. I had to upgrade my three year old Mac when I returned from a winter in Florida. I had bought the Canon iP4000 there to use with my Mac iBook laptop. They were immediately compatible so was surprised when my desktop at home would not hook up. Decided to purchase the latest Apple upgrade, Tiger, and now everything is excellent.
